Program Details
The Avalanche Guild’s After-Hours program has successfully provided more than 100 adult hockey teams with an unforgettable hockey experience that takes place on Pepsi Center ice before and after select Avalanche home games.

In order for your teams to be able to participate in an After-Hours game, teams need to buy/sell at least 100 tickets, or reach 200 total between one group occupying both benches. Tickets are offered at a great group discount, which allows you to spread the word and bring all of your family, friends and co-workers with you to the After-Hours game, all at an amazing price! Ticket prices are subject to change.
Below you will find information on how an After-Hours game works, including ticket requirements, how to reserve an open date and what steps need to be taken to participate in one of these games.
:: TICKET REQUIREMENTS ::
To reserve an After-Hours game, please contact The Hockey Guild at 720-273-0444 or Avalanche Ticket Representative Jake Godber at 303-405-6183. Any and all questions regarding the ticket ordering process, ticket prices and/or seating will be handled by the Avalanche.
Once you have been contacted by our Avalanche representative and covered the 200 ticket requirement, the real fun begins! The entire group is treated like royalty from that exact moment, as we prepare you for the hockey experience of a lifetime.
After your game time and date has been determined and reserved, we will provide each team with a customized event flyer. This flyer includes information on your game, as well as ticket prices.
:: HOW TO SELL YOUR TICKETS ::
Once your flyer has been made and the ticket links go live, it’s time to start buying and selling discounted tickets to your group. The Avalanche Guild works directly with the group captain(s) to not only host and manage the entire event, but promote your flyer and discounted tickets throughout Colorado as well. Our promotions work in two different stages.
First of all, we help teams reach their ticket requirement total by promoting the game in our weekly newsletters and through our website and radio programming. Since anyone in your circle of friends can take advantage of the Guild discount, the more people that are part of your group, the more tickets you’ll sell. And since The Avalanche Guild is one big happy family, we are all about helping each other!
Then we follow that up by using the Twitter and Facebook Social Media Networks to spread the word about your game to our thousands of registered members throughout Colorado. This allows individual members of our Guild to support your team’s cause and help you reach the ticket minimum needed to play on Pepsi Center ice.
:: AFTER-HOURS HISTORY ::
The After-Hours program was created by The Hockey Guild in the summer of 2007 while preparing for the first season of unique interactive programs together. It was the start of a great partnership between The Hockey Guild and the Colorado Avalanche, one that continues to grow on a monthly basis. The first-ever After-Hours game was a special group of 30 local hockey players that acted as the first 30 members of The Avalanche Guild.
In the 2007-08 season, The Avalanche Guild hosted five After-Hours games. In the 2008-09 season, The Avalanche Guild hosted 16 After-Hours games. In the 2009-10 season, The Avalanche Guild hosted 30 After-Hours games.

The first-ever After-Hours game in Guild history took place on November 23, 2007.
