Burgundy Brigade
Welcome to the home of THE BURGUNDY BRIGADE. Registration is open to the general public and you can apply online at any time. There’s no charge to become a member and you do not have to live in Colorado to join.
MISSION: The Burgundy Brigade’s mission is to inject passion and enthusiasm into Pepsi Center and the local Avalanche fan base by initiating grassroots and interactive events through The Avalanche Guild. Formed in the Spring of 2011 by four fans, the Burgundy Brigade joined The Avs Guild over the summer to create a haven for loud, proud, passionate hockey fans to enjoy the Avalanche experience together.
REGISTER: The Burgundy Brigade is a club that is open to Avalanche or hockey fans that are 18 years of age or over. There is no cost to join the club and you can register online at any time. By joining the Burgundy Brigade, you agree to receive discount ticket offers from The Avalanche Guild and support or participate in our different programs and events. Every member who purchases a ticket to our Game of the Month program will receive an Uller helmet for free, as long as you agree to wear it proudly.
PROGRAMS: The Burgundy Brigade is committed to creating grassroots programs that allow passionate Avalanche fans to further enjoy their hockey experience. These programs are exclusive to BB members and help generate more interest in the club, the Avalanche team and the National Hockey League.
The inaugural program created for Burgundy Brigade members is the Game of the Month. Once a month, BB members will be given the opportunity to attend a home game at a considerable discount and to sit together in the same section. BB members will wear Uller helmets, cheer on the team regardless of the score and spread the Avalanche love throughout Pepsi Center.
Many programs will be created over the course of the 2011-12. A few of these include viewing parties, pre- and post-game public skates or broomball games, road trips, monthly Board of Directors meetings, pre-game meetups at Brooklyn’s Bar and Grill, charitable events and much more.
SUPPORT: The Burgundy Brigade is dedicated to not only supporting and promoting Avalanche hockey, but the entire Colorado hockey scene. As such, BB members will be invited to volunteer at select local hockey events, including The Hockey Guild’s very own Quest for the Crown charity hockey tournament, which raises money for the NHL’s Hockey Fights Cancer foundation.
