The Avalanche Guild vs. Mile High Hockey – Round 2 – with Ticket Offer
Last season The Avalanche Guild extended a friendly offer to the good folks over at Mile High Hockey, asking them to participate in a friends vs. friends hockey game at the Pepsi Center as part of The Avs Guild’s long running After-Hours program. To make a long story short, The Avalanche Guild won the title.
Now, hockey season is just a cool breeze away and it is time again for The Avalanche Guild and Mile High Hockey to square off under the lights and raucous crowd at the Can. This year’s event will be taking place prior to the Avalanche game against the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday, October 30th. Beginning at 3 pm and running for an hour, the two websites will be battling it out for pride and bragging rights and The Avalanche Guild will definitely want more fans cheering for them when they win… again.
The game is just weeks away and Mile High Hockey has already been chirping us about the implications of another victory, including this low blow (putting more pressure on MHH to win):
Just another point. When the Guild wins, Avs dont make the playoffs. Just saying, no pressure MHH.
And this attempt at turning the tables from another Avalanche journalist:
We should sign up for the Avs guild team so MHH can win.
Needless to say the match between the two sites will certainly be entertaining and the event comes with a special ticket offer to the Avs game as well. If you’re interested in playing for the Avalanche Guild, feel free to contact us and we can add your name to the roster, space permitting. The only requirement is that you must sell five tickets to the game using the links below in order to play. Don’t play hockey? Come and watch the game! Don’t have time to come and watch? Well at least you can get discounted tickets to a great matchup.
Interested in playing in your own After-Hours game? The Avalanche Guild is now accepting teams for the 2011-2012 season. Look at our dates and contact us for more information.
