According to the man himself, TJ Galiardi will be on the ice tonight as the Colorado Avalanche take on the Ottawa Senators at the Pepsi Center.

Galiardi has been out of the line up since the 9th of November when he broke his wrist being checked into the boards in a game against the Calgary Flames. He had six points and was a plus two in the 14 games he played before his injury. Galiardi is expected to rejoin the top line, but he won’t be joined by fellow line mate Paul Stastny, who injured his back in a third period fall into the boards against the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday night.

According to Adrian Dater of the Denver Post, Stastny will miss tonight’s game with a sore back. He will be joined in the press box tonight by Milan Hejduk, who is still out with a groin injury. Despite these two recent injuries, and the shoulder injury to defenseman Kyle Quincey, the Avalanche are finally becoming healthy again and important pieces to the puzzle are beginning to return. With the offensive firepower that this team had in the wake of serious injury, expect their strong output to continue across the board.

What do you think? Are you happy Galiardi is returning?
